Cricket Wireless improves service plan offerings

August 6th, 2009

Cricket Wireless announced that it has improved some of its service plan offerings, a Cricket spokesperson tells MobileBurn. The news comes just days after MetroPCS upgraded its own plans, as we reported.

Cricket’s $40 monthly plan, which includes unlimited voice, long distance, and text and picture messaging, now includes unlimited Web access and 411 service. The company has also increased the reach of its service to 4,600 cities for this plan.

The company’s $45 monthly plan now includes unlimited email, unlimited data backup, and 30 roaming minutes per month. Its $55 plan includes the same features as the $45 dollar plan but includes 200 roaming minutes per month.
