ARTICLE: iPhone TV and movie direct downloads?

Apple Insider is reporting that employees are being trained on a new iPhone feature - the ability to download television and movie content straight to the device without using iTunes as an intermediary. The article also suggests that initial access may be limited to Wi-Fi, as iTunes music was when first made available for direct downloading. However, with Apple looking to increase its US 3G network speed to HSPA 7.2 Mbps, you could be streaming the latest blockbuster while riding the train to visit the folks before too long.

ARTICLE: Verizon launching OS 4.7.0.148 update for BlackBerry Storm

Storm owners, besides the weekend, you have even more to be excited about - an official OS update from Verizon!  Slated to launch on Sunday, May 31st at 3 PM EST, OS 4.7.0.148 will be the first revision since 4.7.0.75 launched in December.  It can be downloaded via www.blackberry.com/update, or over-the-air (OTA) beginning at 10 PM on Sunday.  To download the update directly from the phone, go to Options > Advanced Options > Wireless Updates. Verizon to release BlackBerry Storm 9530 update on Sunday

Whereas the Yari is being geared for mobile gamers, Satio on the other hand is more of a multimedia phone with nifty features such as 3.5” screenin crystal clear 16:9 widescreen format and a 12.1 megapixel camera.
